Please use these helpful tips to help you prepare for your session:

Try to get adequate rest for a few nights prior to the session.

Hydrate well the week leading up to the session.

Moisturize well prior to the session, and if possible, exfoliate a day or two before.

If doing nudes, semi-nudes, or drapings, wear loose fitting clothing and undergarments that are as loose as possible to decrease underwear lines.

Keep clothing very simple, as lint-free as possible, and avoid patterns and logos as much as possible (i.e. stripes, plaid, etc.).

Only use neutral toned nail polish, avoiding dark colors that will draw attention from the eye.

Keep make-up as natural as possible, taking the most care to even out your skin tone.

If shooting at your home, keep it warm, and be sure to make it very warm for newborn sessions. This will help ease them into an easier slumber and keep them calmer.

For respect to myself and to avoid distractions, please plan on not using your own camera during a session.

Have music handy to help you feel more at ease.
