Saundra Karol's style is unique and creative. Her work can be described simply- less cute and more
honestly artistic. Her goal of photographing children and adults is to create a photograph that
encompasses an underlying story. Most often, her work is displayed in black and white, showing an
even greater depth to the photo.

Capturing Locations- (Loft Studio and Location Work)
Saundra Karol works both on location as well as in her loft studio in Chicago. Locations
can be anywhere around Chicagoland and can add a great deal of visual interest to an
image. Her loft studio provides a great backdrop for newborn, maternity and headshot
photography. Located right off of 90/94 in the heart of the Chicago Arts District, it is easily
accessible and provides a comfortable and artistic atmosphere.

Chicago's Maternity Photographer- (Artistic Pregnancy Images)
Saundra loves working with expecting moms to create artful portraits that show and
celebrate the beauty of pregnancy. Her maternity portrait sessions can either take place
in her loft studio or at another location. Maternity pictures are best captured when the
mom is obviously showing, yet comfortable enough to move around, usually around 7
months.

Chicago's Newborn Photographer- (Newborn Baby Images)
Saundra's newborn portraits are simply artistic and unique! These sessions may take
place either in her loft studio or at the client's home (or other location). The experience at
her loft is like no other, where comfort is key. Saundra strives to make the loft as relaxing
as possible for new parents and even has many of the essentials a newborn would need.
Her patience is unsurpassed when posing the newborns, and many clients even learn
new calming techniques by watching her work! Saundra prefers to work with newborn
under 10 days old. Beautiful birth announcements are also available.

Chicago's Talent Photographer- (Actors, Models, and Singers)
Besides her artistic black and white photography, Saundra is known for her headshots of
Chicago's finest actors and models. She has experience on both sides of the lens and
holds a wealth of information regarding the talent business. Agents appreciate her
professional and realistic style, as well as her ability to understand their talents' needs in
regards to having the best headshots or composites. Saundra also works with singers
and various other musicians for headshot or portrait needs. Although Saundra prefers to
work soley with talent signed with SAG-franchised agencies (www.sag.org), she is availabile for working
with aspiring talent entering the field who demonstrate talent and a desire to suceed in the business.

Saundra Karol Photography is also a gay friendly photography service. Gay and lesbian couples delight
in her easy approach and laid back manner. Her photographs focus on the relationship and the
emotions shared between the couple, resulting in beautiful works of art.
